What Foods are best to eat in the summer?

Are you enjoying this summer? Now here in Jersey, the temp is soaring up to 90 degrees. You need to find a way to stay cool and healthy during this summer. Here are some tips for you!

You may be invited to many pool parties or BBQ parties during the summer. Be careful not to drink too much alcohol or eat fatty food! Do not let a party ruin your diet! Eat right food for your diet and drink enough water. They are probably the most important things for you to do for health living during the summer. If you are not sure what to eat to help you lose weight and keep you healthy during summer, consider including cucumber and watermelon to you meal. Here are some nutrition and health benefits they have.

Cucumber

Very low calories, 0 Fat, High in fiber (Skin), Anti-Oxidants – Vitamin C & A, B-carotene and a-carotene, vitamin K)

Watermelon

Low calories, Vitamin A & C, Potassium, Anti-inflammatory & Anti-Oxidants , 90% Water – good source of hydration

You will find a ton of information on the internet about great health benefits they have. I was surprised to see so many health benefits of watermelon and cucumber. On a hot sunny day, make watermelon and cucumber salad for your snack! It tastes so awesome!
