For this reason, we’re providing this primer on how most spas operate. Hopefully this allows you to maximize the enjoyment of your upcoming appointment!  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;1. Arrive Early: We recommend arriving 15-30 minutes before your scheduled appointment. Getting to the spa early will provide ample time to tour the spa facilities and get to know the various features onsite. Many spas have a pool, sauna and/or steam room, and other ways to pamper yourself prior to your appointment. They’re meant to be used…so take advantage of them!&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;2. Speak Up: When the time comes you’re your appointment it important that you tell your massage therapist about any pre-existing conditions that could negatively impact your enjoyment of your appointment. Trained spa attendants know to gather this information prior the treatment, but it’s always a good idea to thoroughly explain your physical history.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;3. Mix It Up: Most spas in NJ have a wide variety of service offerings; your first time through you might want to test out a couple of different treatments. For example, instead of signing up for a 90 minute Swedish massage, you could sign up for a 60 minute shiatsu massage and a 60 minute sport massage and then decide which one is a better fit for you in the future.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;4. Anyone could buy expensive wines and portray themselves as wine experts, but I didn’t have that luxury or privilege. Passed the “jug” wine factories in Los Gatos and San Jose, including Almaden and Gallo, and headed into the mountains and valleys of Santa Cruz, where I started “two-a-days.”  Two wineries a day was all I could handle on a motorcycle, but received many offers to stay.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;I could write a book on that wine trip through Monterrey and Governor Ronald Reagan’s ranch in Santa Barbara, which “no place before, or since, has ever given Nancy and me the joy and serenity.”  It was 1976, America’s Bicentennial Celebration, and it was time to gas up and head back to the Parade of Tallships in New York Harbor.&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Back in New York, held corporate management positions with MasterCard and AXA Financial which included procurement and personally conducting wine tastings from Pebble Beach, CA to TPC Sawgrass in Florida.  My wine experience was influenced by countless bottles and tastings at Zagats top ten restaurants in Manhattan, but the following people were my mentors:&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Drew Nieporent (Tribeca Grill and Nobu)&lt;br /&gt;Alan Stillman (Smith &amp; Wollensky Restaurant Group, Cité, Park Avenue Grill, Post House)&lt;br /&gt;Michael McCarty (Michaels NYC &amp; Santa Monica, CA)&lt;br /&gt;Danny Meyer (Union Square Café)&lt;br /&gt;Richard Kocher (Brass Rail, Hoboken)&lt;br /&gt;Special mention to Jimmy Nicholas (Telepan)&lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Received Certificates of Recognition from the Wines of France and Wines of Spain, who graciously invited me to their annual wine dinners and tastings in New York when they brought new products to market and wanted educated consumer opinions.  &lt;br /&gt;&lt;br /&gt;Another special mention goes to Kevin Zraly, one of the greatest wine authorities and teachers of wine in the world! yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Being sick has definitely discouraged me to do many things in my life.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;As I grew older I started to tolerate a lot of my allergies until I finally grew out of them.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I was able to be a normal kid and not have to worry about falling ill so often.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt; text-indent: 0.5in;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;After growing out of my “sick” stage, I started to battle insecurities including my weight and appearance.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I always wanted to feel comfortable and able to not have to worry about what I looked like and how I appeared to others.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I use to work in retail through high school and part of college.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;My eating habits were all over the place and I would tend to choose a bag of chips and candy over healthier alternatives.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;It was all the convenience of working in a retail store.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;There was nothing around except for fast food and convenient snacks.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I had gained a lot of weight and just did not feel good about myself.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/div&gt;&lt;div class="MsoNormal" style="margin: 0in 0in 10pt; text-indent: 0.5in;"&gt;&lt;span style="font-family: Calibri;"&gt;At this point, I decided I needed a change of pace.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I was later hired here at CGI Holistic Fitness as a receptionist.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;After working for several months, I was determined to get into shape so I could feel better inside and out.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I had spent countless days eating healthy and exercising.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I could not do it without the help of the people surrounding me here.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The co-workers I worked with were very motivational and taught me how to control my body.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;The members I worked for helped with great compliments that made me much more confident and want to work even harder at my goal.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Several months had passed and I had lost about 45-50 pounds in total.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Since then, I have always felt that if I can do it, anyone can.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;Keep your mind on your goal and your heart in the right place and you will get there.&lt;span style="mso-spacerun: yes;"&gt;&amp;nbsp; &lt;/span&gt;I am grateful for the experience I have had from working here at CGI Holistic Fitness and I want to thank all the people who helped me reach my
